The Fate of Andelesim

Andelesim has been run by the Boone family for thousands of years, and this family has brought the people of Andelesim through many hard times. Growing under their rule, however, no citizen dared speak against the family besides those truly bent on bringing them down. Yet, most of those people met their fates in dungeons or by the hands of vigilant loyalists. The Boone children always kept the Boone name, even if they were women, for the Boone name was one of respect and honor, so it was a name no one would dare give up and everyone wanted to have. Yet, the Boone family is not without their faults since they are like every other person and they dare not hide that fact. King Jacob Boone believes that showing the faults of the family only proves to the citizens how human they are, and he hopes it will inspire them to attempt and follow their footsteps of loyalty, honor, and respect. Of course, those who do not see eye to eye with the Boone family use these open faults to their advantage in hopes of bringing down the family. But, only one has the chance to succeed in this task...

Recently, King Jacob Boone passed away in the night. He died silently besides his wife who was also the one who reported his body. The country mourned this lose, but the Queen happily took the throne in the absence of their children. Each child was sent out on their Boone family tradition of mingling with the citizens and living as a poor person for an entire year. It may not be much, but the family always believed it helped center them in what was truly going on in their world. However, with the death of their father, the children are forced to abandon their journey and start traveling home in order to prepare father's funeral and also decide who will take the throne. However, two of the three children have already met undesirable fates as they were killed. One by bandits and the other by a dragon. With only one left, the fate of Andelesim lays in the balance for beneath the surface of the Queen is someone who desires to take over. Yes, the Queen is one of those people who hate the Boone family, but she has far bigger desires than to just wipe them all out. In fact, she wants to rule Andelesim forever. Sadly, all of this is unknown by everyone save one, the Queen's prophet who is blind and insane, so none truly understand what she says when she attempts to warn them.

Now the fate of Andelesim lays in the balance as the Queen attempts to find and kill the last child of Boone and that child, who is certainly no king, attempts to reach home, unaware of the odds against him.
