Worse moment in life; watching everyone she ever had feelings for die in a massacre.
Brief history overview; Linley is definitely not what one would expect on top of the fact that her life has been nothing but fighting to survive form the time she was conceived to the time she came into the world. Linley was born Linley Serafina with no last name as her mother refused to give her one as there was no father involved in any of the process minus actual conception. Her mother however died giving birth to her leaving her to be cared for by those of the village that decided to take the baby in. She was a rather odd baby to take care of hardly ever crying but always seeming to let her caretakers know that she needed something. By the time she was five anyone could see that she would follow the beat of her own drum. Little did they know how much like her father she really was. She was only like her mother in the fact that she looked exactly like her.
The village she lived in was attacked when she turned seven and she fled having been the only survivor of the massacre that had taken place. It was then that she made her way to Scartel Nao where the Andelesims found her. She was outside the cave of a dragon and ten years old at the time. Commander Boone was the one to have spotted her with her wolf at her side. She was wounded and the wolf wouldn't let Boone anywhere near her for a little bit. Soon she became a rather close confidant of the Commander and she was allowed to roam freely for all she wished so long as she answered any summons from any animal that might be able to find its way too her. He knew she could communicate with them. She reminded him of a girl he'd once meant years ago. But he let it slide.
She's seventeen now and was following the young Boone's around though she was not with the older two when they died and she had yet to see Commander Boone since the Dragon incident so to speak. She's hoping his not angry with her. Though he did tell her to keep the closest eye on the younger one. She hides in the shadows waiting for the right moment to show herself to the Prince. Protection is key and she knows full well that she has to get him home alive or all hell will break lose even the animals are feeling it. She's always up for an adventure and this would have to be one of the grandest. Specially when Commander Boone realizes that that night he had in Trinclaw a seventeen years back produced Linley. As its becoming more apparent that she's like her father with a nicer side.
Role play example; Sadako lay awake in her bed. She was not normally an early riser. Her sister was the one known for waking up as the sun hit her face or even just slightly before. However, the night time was Sadako's time. She held constant vigilance through the night while her sister slept most of the time and as her sister was awakening Sadako would be falling into a sound sleep. Then again they could have the same sleeping pattern as well. It was just usually not Sadako waking up early. Rin had taken a mission by herself and that had left Sadako worrying about her twin just a little bit. Rin had gone alone because her skills were needed more than Sadako's were. Sadako knew that her sister would be just fine. However her dreams the past couple of nights had her too worried to sleep. They had nothing to do with her sister though so she had chalked them up to her worrying motherly instincts.
Today as she lay awake however the images would not get out of her head. Someone was in serious trouble. It had something to do with the Templar so she was sure that the people in trouble were either fellow mercenaries or assassins. She would rescue either party if she had too. She got up out of bed and dressed in a white dress with a long black jacket. He usual attire when she figured it was time to blend and stand out all at the same time. She had business to attend too. She walked into her parents room and kissed them both on the cheeks before existing their room and the house altogether. Rin was due back today and Sadako was sure her sister would find her when she got home. So Sadako stole into the early morning glow to find her way to Shibuya. She knew through rumor that the Templar were there. It didn't take her long to get into the city either. It was bustling with early morning traffic when she got there.
She laughed to herself as she realized that it was a holiday. Of course the city would be busy. She was going to have to find a place to keep watch on what was going on around the city. She found a ladder on the side of a building that would work perfect for her to keep a good look out on the city streets below her. She laid down near the ledge of the building and watched the people down below her. She was sure that she'd be at it for awhile so there was no use in making any sudden movements and she was safe to take her eyes away if she needed too. After all she hadn't had anything to eat yet but had a bottle of juice with her as she didn't really like drinking water. And so she laid there watching the street below but also watching the sky and the rooftops just in case someone might catch her off guard up on the roof and send her falling to a not so soft landing and probably broken bones to boot and that wouldn't be pleasant.
Hours passed before something finally started to catch her interest. Two guards were weaving their way through the crowd below her. Shew as trained well to listen to every conversation going on but to also ignore everything when something important came up. After all as a mercenary you needed to know how to get out of a situation and fast. She was known for having back doors to all of her plans and she was quick with the kill if someone needed to die. She kept a close watch on them but her eyes were taken away only slightly as she saw a blur pass her on the roof just a little ways from her. That blur fell right into the path of the guards. That was not going to be good and something told her it was about time to come down off the roof. She found the ladder again and climbed down jumping off and rolling a couple seconds later and about ten steps form the bottom of the later. She ran up to the already forming group slinking her way into the front of the group that was watching what was going on. The guard mentioned something about an assassin and Sadako's breath caught as she felt a strong sense of de-ja-vu wash over her.
Her mind began to race as a second person came to aid the assassin that has fallen. This was going to be an interesting fight. They seemed to be doing very well for themselves but she gasped as she saw one guard nail the second arrival with a dart and not to shortly after the first one as well. She watched for a little bit as the drug the boys away. They were in deep trouble now. Sadako had heard rumors of what the guards and the Templar did to captured assassins. She followed closely behind the group making sure not to be seen or to be heard. She wasn't the silent twin for nothing. She snuck her way into the building and noted where the guards threw the boys. She existed the building just almost as quickly as she had gone in to figure out if there was a way to get them out from the outside. She finally came up to the cellar that they were in. She looked inside but could see nothing. Why hadn't she brought her flash light? Oh yea that was right she'd run out of the house not really sure what she was going to need to take to rescue anyone however a flashlight had not come into the picture but she did have her lighter. That was a completely different story at the moment though.
She leaned against the wall not covering the hole just in case someone came to it. It was a bit later but she was staring at another eye. "Boys...Boys are you alright?" She could hear their voice and was sure one of them had found the opening. Her voice was soft but full of concern. She looked around her and satisfied no one was looking turned back to the opening. "Please come to the opening I think I may be able to get you out of this mess." She only said think because she'd need to know what the inside was made out of and if she could do everything from the outside or if she'd have to go in find a way to divert the guards attention and get the boys out that way. She was not even sure if they had locked the door that she had seen them throw the boys into
