Out of Character1: Respect everyone! This is a simple rule that should be followed in order to make this site enjoyable to everyone. 2: Don't take in character comments personally and don't drag out of character comments into role play. These two things are seperate and should remain that way. If you have a problem with something, speak to that person or a staff member, so it can be resolved peacefully. 3: Advertise in the correct area! I don't want to see a random site's url in my cbox or get any sort of PM's about a site. Adverts have their own place and they should stay there! 4: Don't go badgering people to role play with you if they already told you that they are busy. Instead, you should run around and plot with people if you are bored, so you can get some threads that way.
In Character1: Keep your posts PG-13! If you don't know what is PG-13, you can read this to get a better idea. 2: Keep things realistic. Even though this is a fantasy modern site, I still want to keep a realistic vibe to it. This means you cannot become pregnant and have the child in a month then that child grows up in just a week. Also realize no one is perfect, so you cannot always win a fight or, at the very least, walk away from a fight unscathed. So, use your head and be realistic, its pretty simple. 3: When it comes to creating your application, you do not need to worry about length, just worry about the details you put in it. This means you should make it clear and not ramblings of a mad man. Also, there is no character limit at this time, and if you create another character, you do not need to provide another role play example (since you would have given one already.)
The Randoms1: If you have a question about ANYTHING, ask! To me, the only stupid question is the one you do not ask because asking questions helps you gain knowledge. Not asking that question means you do not have a complete certainty what the answer is. So, ask. I won't bite...hard. ^.^
More rules may show up as time goes on, but I believe these are the clear cut ones and there are others that most role players know not to do. If you don't know them then ask.
